Events, Location, and Transport

Welcome to our Wedding Blog. We will be posting information about our welcome BBQ, wedding, accommodations, and info about the Bay Area.

The nearest airport is San Francisco International (SFO). However other options with roughly an hour drive would be Oakland International (OAK) and San Jose International (SJC). The blog will help allow our guests to connect and perhaps share rental cars via posts. It is about a 45-minute drive from the airport to Half Moon Bay. A post below is set-up for people to communicate about sharing rental cars if convenient.

The Welcome BBQ is open to all our guests and will take place in Woodside, California (137 Moore Rd) on June 25th, 2010. We will be by the pool for swimming and dinner from 4-9pm. The BBQ will be informal and casual with beer, wine, paper plates and fun in the sun. Please bring a warm layer.   You can access Woodside from Half Moon Bay (20 min. drive) if you choose to stay in Half Moon Bay for the entire weekend, but we have also included places to stay around Woodside.  Please see specific directions and places to stay near Woodside below.

Our Wedding Ceremony and reception will be held  at Chateau La Joye, 4751 La Honda Road in San Gregorio/La Honda, California on June 26th, 2010 at 4PM.  The wedding is semi-formal.  The wedding and reception will be held outside and it will get cool/cold in the evening.  Please bring a warm layer.  The closest place to stay is Half Moon Bay, a quaint-beachy town on the coast.  Please see specific directions and places to stay near Half Moon Bay below.
